The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a comprehensive range of skills in the sales, marketing and communications field.  Reporting to the Director of Clinical Service, the sales and marketing specialist will build a comprehensive interdisciplinary growth and retention strategic plan.   The Director of Sales and Strategic Growth will be responsible for the representing, promoting, and selling CMHS services to healthcare facilities throughout the state of CT. The team member needs to be proficient in the development and execution of the company’s sales, marketing and communication strategy and campaigns.  The ideal candidate will be goal-driven, highly motivated, and possess innate interpersonal skills, organizational skills, negotiation skills, flexibility, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, healthcare knowledge, prospecting skills, closing skills, and be highly skilled in written and verbal communication.  If you believe you are the right candidate and are excited to embrace our company culture of restoring hope, solace, and well-being we invite you to apply to this unique opportunity.   

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns to include account growth, staff recruitment, and retention campaigns. 
  • Customer service representative. Scheduling and attending meetings primarily with skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and residential care homes throughout CT. 
  • Responsible for developing new sales leads and works with the management team to present to potential customers. 
  • Develops and implements account retention initiatives. 
  • Serves as the liaison to address customer concerns and facilitate complaint resolutions.  
  • Assist with company communications. 
  • Provide data analytics to the management team. 
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.  
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging trends and services. Collaborates with the management team to develop growth plans for the organization. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field preferred. 
  • At least three years of experience in sales and marketing and/or reputation management is preferred. Experience in healthcare marketing is preferred.  
  • Experience in writing and proofreading skills are necessary.  Strong project management skills are required. 
  • Organize time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize work while allocating resources appropriately to achieve goals.  
  • Self-motivated to drive organization and Strategic Communications’ objectives.

We have part-time positions available. CMHS specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry, and provides the highest quality psychiatric care to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in CT. We have a great team of dedicated Psychiatrists, APRNs, LCSWs and Psychologists, and are looking to grow our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide diagnostic evaluations as well as individual and/or group therapy for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. -Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams at each facility, providing feedback to staff and assisting with behavioral management techniques as needed. -Develop and maintain professional relationship with staff, with ability to educate the staff on appropriate referrals in order to maintain and build caseloads. -Collaborate with other members of the CMHS interdisciplinary team assigned in each of your buildings. -Participate in case reviews and utilization reviews as needed. -Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation for patients on caseload.

Education, Licensure, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Master of Social Work degree -Licensed Clinical Social Worker in State of CT -Working knowledge of the DSM V -Strong organizational and time management skills -Excellent communication skills including a high degree of professionalism -A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult/geriatric psychiatry preferred
